About

We all know what anger is, and we've all felt it: whether as a fleeting annoyance or as full-fledged rage. According to one definition, anger is "an emotional state that varies in intensity from mild irritation to intense fury." Anger is a completely normal, usually healthy, human emotion. You could be angry at a specific person (such as a coworker or supervisor) or a service provider (wireless cell phone, utilities company, or the service man who tells you, he will be there between 8 and 5, sometime between August 1st and August 15th) or event (a traffic jam or a canceled flight), etc.

We are told that people who are easily angered have a low tolerance for frustration, meaning simply that they feel that they should not have to be subjected to frustration, inconvenience, or annoyance. We can't relax and take things in stride, and we get particularly infuriated if the situation seems somehow unjust. They are undeniably wrong!

Why do we yell? We yell! because we are surrounded by incompetence and there is never any accountability. You are not alone.
